Amber leads My RIA Lawyer’s compliance operations and oversees the team responsible for executing the testing, workflows, and quality controls that help growing RIAs build compliance programs capable of withstanding SEC scrutiny.
Amber serves as Compliance Manager at My RIA Lawyer, where she leads the firm’s compliance operations team and is responsible for developing, training, and supervising the next generation of compliance professionals. Having advanced through every level of the compliance department—from Compliance Officer I to Compliance Officer II, Senior Compliance Officer, and now Compliance Manager—Amber brings a deep understanding of both the technical and operational aspects of building high-performing compliance programs.
Today, Amber oversees the execution of compliance testing for some of the nation’s fastest-growing registered investment advisers, helping firms strengthen their regulatory infrastructure through comprehensive reviews of advertising, billing practices, licensing and registrations, books and records, electronic communications, and other core compliance functions. Her focus is ensuring that compliance programs don’t simply exist on paper—they operate effectively in practice and stand up to regulatory scrutiny.
Amber also serves as Product Manager for ComplianceNerdOS™, My RIA Lawyer’s proprietary compliance management platform. Working alongside the firm’s attorneys and compliance professionals, she has helped design and build the technology that powers client workflows, compliance testing, reporting, and operational oversight. Her firsthand experience leading compliance teams allows her to translate real-world regulatory challenges into practical, scalable technology solutions that improve efficiency while strengthening compliance outcomes.
Amber holds both the Associate, Customer Service (ACS) designation and the Associate, Life Management Institute (ALMI) designation, providing her with additional expertise in customer experience, insurance operations, and financial services. Combined with years of hands-on regulatory experience, these credentials enable her to approach compliance from both a technical and operational perspective.
When she’s not leading the compliance team or helping shape the future of ComplianceNerdOS™, Amber enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter, three stepchildren, and three grandchildren. She loves the outdoors and enjoys taking advantage of the Florida sunshine whenever she can.
