Compliance Analyst

Before joining My RIA Lawyer, Amber spent nearly eight years in licensing and registrations for large broker-dealers and RIAs, including JW Cole, Raymond James, and Transamerica. In her role at My RIA Lawyer, Amber works with our clients performing compliance testing including, but not limited to:

 

  • Email archiving and supervision
  • Billing review
  • Licensing and registrations
  • RIA registrations and notice-filings
  • Advertising review

Amber holds an ACS (Associate, Customer Service) designation, which allows her to better understand customer expectations, patterns and behaviors as well advocate for and protect customers.  She also holds an ALMI (Associate, Life Management Institute) which allows her to have in-depth knowledge of the core products and operations of life insurance companies.

 

When she isn’t performing detailed and thorough compliance testing for clients, Amber enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter, three step-children and three grandchildren.  She loves the outdoors and the Florida sun.

In 2017, after being in business for eleven year, I was audited by the state. I had a compliance consultant from the start that filed all my regulatory filing.
